At last, I’m sat at home with my computer, a drink and episodes of Ash vs The Evil Dead. It’s been the kind of week that only a comic bath load of blood can wash me clean of. Essays, far too many essays and they are much scarier than any undead. Okay, not quite as scary as having to sit through episodes of The Walking Dead. Hell that show is so boring. Doesn’t anyone else realize it’s not actually a story any more? It’s become an endless tease for the season finale and lately, murder porn. I like my entertainment to have some intellectual content, hence…. The Evil Dead.
Basically, I’ve had to use every waking moment to get work done, so I haven’t had any time to think about writing, drawing, all the fun stuff. It’s been hard because a lot of personal events have happened as well. I’ve just had to put it out of my mind. I won’t bore you with the details, but after I’m rested – the kind of rested where I can actual rest, rather than just try and calm my hyper mind down to think straight and my body enough to sit without twitching – I’ll start sorting it out. Don’t you just hate it when you know its harder to stop than to keep going?
So that’s it. Just a quick entry to let you all know that I’m back in the saddle again, on the road, on the wagon, and other such metaphors. I can write some, draw some and continue on my quest to find more artists to join my artist group (leave me a comment if curious). To tie up one of my lose ends though, I can tell you that my friend who was struggling to get into her university, she finally got the result she wanted after doing an extra essay assignment. In fact, the teacher had to make the entire class do it, just for her sake. The truth is nicer than fiction – or the truth that we hope is fiction.
Whatever, I’ll be back soon with a more cohesive entry.
